We are not like everyone, Our home proves the great men that you have sewn together, Yet, now, we have become weak veins and parting ships This is the last time we will take ourselves away, what’s left but worthless nights and bragging rights, Our eyes will grow, and you will look right through us, And see the sin that we’ve atoned, The dirt in your lungs may way you down, But the forgotten laughs make up for this We all turn away, there’s a problem, Can’t you see it’s us, we’re the ones with the closing eyes, And you see all others all others here, we cry out in laughter, Hunger grows deep within, the dying won’t leave And you might think that people care, But no one grows concerned, And you will always hide, It may not be right for this, But your failing system tells a story, If you want this secret then keep it with the honest You might find a way out of this broken home, Just breath deeper son, take another breath, You might find out that this is for the best, You have become worthless, And let yourself take your drug, And let it in, you have let yourself become worthless (that this is for the best)

My body has left me, And I’m hollow inside, My spine remains, Yet knives replace my bones, And your love, I said, "I’d always be there, And who was there for you, Should I let you leave me for your poisons and pills, You have left me, and I can't feel the same, I can't let you be my home, let you be my trust, My warnings were ignored, and dear, You have decided to lose yourself, You flirted with lust and you drowned in desire, You hid from me, And you tried to conceal your crime in the rubble of my alibi, You let your head down and spoke, “love, I know I was right, when I told you I knew.” Choked on every lost word, And you ripped my ribs apart, And from my chest, and from me, You must prove to me, if you’re worth anything, If you’re worth anything at all, And our house of cards has fallen, And ruined this beautiful proof that we were, that everyone thought we were. (so rip my ribs apart, and let each tear, prove to me what you are worth) My body has left me, And I’m hollow inside, My spine remains, Yet knives replace my bones, And your love, I said, "I’d always be there, My body still beats away my head, wanders in doubt (I am hollow inside)

You are not the greatest one I know, Ruined the great world I know, I have the strength, To speak of what we know, We know you You made me wake this morning, To the noise that you created, The coffee prepared by guests, Didn't cure my bloodshot eyes So I won't apologize for anything that I have said I have the strength, To speak of what we know, We know you So I agree with the words I said, And even though no one can see, I won't apologize, Because I know where I create the valley within myself, And I broadcast it to everyone, But I have the courage to travel yours, So will you sing or will you hide, Spend this shortened time within yourself, I won't apologize, So sing daughter never hide, Because I won't apologize, This creation has grown and now I am forgotten You have a home confide in four walls so share it with us
